Since I spend such a huge chunk of my time these days in the office I've been gravitating towards gadgets and gizmos that are legit to have and entertain me at the same time!

Cute Overload

Discovered this gem of a blog through the 2009 Bloggies and if you need a time waster this is the perfect way to go about doing it. Its so cute it makes me want to vom, swallow, and then keep looking. Heres just a sample from Cute Overload.

Online Gem

When I discover something truely amazing and wonderful the logical and generous thing to do would be to share it. Which is what I shall do. I discovered Zenni Optical through a group of guy friends and bought my first pair of spectacles a little over a year ago. The amazing part about zenni is that glasses range from $15-$20 WITH the prescription and shipping. And glasses can be pretty g'damn expensive normally.

I have been complimented so many times while wearing my glasses and have written the website down numerous times. They look exactly like a pair I could have picked up at J. Crew for hundreds of dollars but guess what I paid $20!!

The only downside of zenni is that you cannot actually try the glasses on (website, duh) and they aren't the greatest quality of plastic. They do hold up well but its not super high quality and sturdy. You also need to know your exact presciption.

Next purchase - these sweet frames.

Current Obsession

I'm really really lovin' on these super adorable fabric flowers from emerson made. Verdict is still out on whether or not I could actually pull off this look but I can still look, can't I? Look and love.

In theory things like these are always way cuter in the product photos than they end up looking throughout the day. But I wants one!!

I also think that for some reason I'm attracted of late to embellishments. These fit the bill perfectly.
